let me tell you when you’re working onour programming for the first time andyou are downloading our on your laptopsfor the first time make sure you knowwhich operating system you have whetherit’s a 32-bit or a 64-bit okay so I havea 64-bit so I’ll go ahead and first ofall download R and then I’ll go aheadand download the r Studio okay so let’sclick on this so I’ll click on downloadR okay and I’m installing it for thefirst time so that is whyI need to click right over here installR for the first time okay so for thosewho are installing R for the first timeclick on thisso once I click over here soautomatically it will tell you whichversion you havein your laptop in your computers and Ihave 64 bit so the recommended one isdownload4.3.1 for Windows okay

so I’ll justclick on this onenow once I click on this one see thedownloadsnow it’s downloading okayso let it get downloadedso once the exe file is downloaded whatyou can do you can just go ahead andclick on the fileokay now once you click on the filethere will be a pop-up do you want toallow this app to make changes to yourdevice yes Okay click on yes and thenyou have to select your language whichlanguage you prefer for installationclick on OKand thenyou have to just read the informationcarefully regarding thisokay and then click on next now the filewill already be selected over here ifyou wish you can change it by clickingon browse and then selecting your filelocation from here okay whether it’s a Cdrive

D drive anyone you can select okayso now just click on next Once you haveselected your drivenow again click on next here your it’s a64-bit and all the files will beinstalled which are related to R so nowclick on next okay now next the optioncomes up do you want to customize thestartup option startup option means whenyou start your laptop this particular uharewhich we are downloading right now will automatically open up if you wish youcan click on yes if you do not wish toautomatically open it up you can clickon no okay and then click on nextnowin this particular step you have to setup like where should the document be orwhere should the r be in your folder like what should be the folder name sonow you can click on next I’ve justgiven it as R okay now you can selectover here you can create a desktopshortcut and these should be selected okay the registry entry should beselected and then click on next againnow the files are getting extracted okay wait for some time let it get extractedso once it is done the extraction isdonethe installation will be completed okay

we’ll click on finish now we have our inour computer in our laptop okay now ournext step is to download the r Studio okay our next it would be downloading our studio because you cannot run R without an R studio now what is in ourstudio so our studio is just like aneditor it’s an editor where you canwrite your code and you can run it inthe console section okay now how willyou download that you can go tohttpost.com okayproduct slash open source slash Studiookay you can go to this particular website

R you cannot install the rStudio or if you install the r Studio itwon’t work properly if you are notdownloading R Okay now click on insinstall the second option that isdownload our Studio for Windows let itget downloadedokay so once the XC file is downloadedwe’ll go ahead and run itso now we have the file now we’llquickly go ahead and run the cinearkcomputersOkay soyesnow we just have to follow theprocedures now which folder you want toselect you can browse it out and selectit out so I basically recommend toselect this destination folder itselfwhere your R is already installed okaygo ahead and click on next if you wishyou can create like uh don’t create ashortcut you can check put a check markon thatclick on install okay
